The final event I attended while in London was the Scarlett London Bloggers Festival, held at Conrad London St. James hotel. After check-in we were graciously offered glasses of wine, and the opportunity to take photos in front of a beautiful pink ballon wall. As we walked further into the event space we entered a dimly lit room with multiple stations. The center piece was a long dining table showcasing different flat lay styles, the idea was to show bloggers how a proper flat flay should be and also for us to use as content.
They're was an amazing artist, Julia Broughton, that wrote our blog names on either a shell or card and we could use those to personalize our flat lays. The next station was Scarletts clothing line, which was a great addition because bloggers could see the garments in person but also try them on and take pictures, it was a very smart advertising concept. My favorite stations of course consisted of the candy and popsicle stations. We all know blogging at events can really work up and appetite.
The next room we entered was where the real magic happens. It was filled with different vendors showcasing their new products to potientally collaborate with. It was a wide range of vendors from designers, to skin care, to technology savvy. It was quite amazing and it was a great surprise to see a Bermudian showcasing her high end bag designs.
